How to Increase Sperm Count
There are so many tales and methods on this and many are completely incorrect! The biggest myth is that women are responsible for most infertility! The fact is men are about 50% responsible for the problems.
So what sperm levels are normal?
Men should have around 20 million sperm per milliliter – from a semen volume of 2 ml.
Why is the sperm count so important? When it comes to conceiving it really is a numbers game! Very few of the sperm are actually capable of getting to their destination! It’s a long journey through the cervix to fallopian tube to make it to the awaiting egg. Around 50% of the sperm will make the wrong choice and gather round the wrong fallopian tube entrance.
So how can I increase sperm levels?
- Have sex in the mornings
- Do not do drugs, don’t drink alcohol excessively
- Take regular exercise
- Heat can affect sperm. Avoid hot tubs and tight underwear!
- Lose any excess weight
- Reduce stress levels, how about trying things like yogo and Meditation
